St. Paul’s JoJo Green has a fresh, creative take on a nostalgic, funky, soulful sound. Fresh off the release of their latest album, “The Summer Tree”(EP – 2022) this group is a well-oiled machine, and a force to be reckoned with as the rich, agile and daring trios between vocalist Sharisse “Jermaine” Germain, Saxophonist, Zach Miller, and guitarist, Conner Allen intertwine and braid throughout their entire performance, driven by primal, soulful rhythm provided by Nancy Long and their main songwriter, Scott Yonke.
Clay Fulton & The Lost Forty is a six-piece rootsrock band from Rochester, MN. Drawing his inspiration from classic American folk singers and modern indie rock bands, Fulton has a knack for writing clever and simple lines that are both approachable and memorable. He wishes to draw out feelings of angst, frustration and grit from listeners as they grapple with the ups and downs of love and life, all the while leaving them with a sense of hope. The band spent the last year gaining local support and performing with acts like: Charlie Parr, NUR-D, The Big Wu, Yam Haus, and Them Coulee Boys.Positive Numbersisthe band’s sophomore release and is due out in August. It was recorded at Carpet Booth Studios in Rochester, MN.
